Be aware of scammers posing as court officials or law enforcement. They may call claiming there is a warrant for your arrest for failing to appear for jury duty. They will often ask for personal information or tell you that you can clear the warrant by paying a fine with a credit card or pre-paid debit card.

Court officials will never ask for confidential information or payment over the phone.

Do not share sensitive personal information with these callers. If you believe you have been targeted by a jury scam, contact your local police agency to file a report.
