Understanding Your Ticket or Warrant
A ticket or warrant is a legal document that states the law you allegedly violated. It lists the date, time, and location of your court appearance, along with your bond amount — the money you may owe the court if a judge fines you. You must resolve tickets and warrants through the legal process. Ignoring them can lead to additional steps or consequences.
Paying Your Bond Before Court
You may pay (forfeit) your bond before your scheduled court date in any of the following ways:
- Online: South Carolina Public Index - https://www.publicindex.sccourts.org/
- In person: Court window in the lobby of the North Augusta Public Safety
- By mail: Money order or cashier's check only (no personal checks). Include a copy of your ticket or write the ticket number on your payment.
Mailing and in-person address:
North Augusta Public Safety
1210 Georgia Avenue
North Augusta, SC 29841
⚠️Your court fines must be paid in full on the day of your court appearance. Failure to pay your bond or fines may result in a suspended driver's license and/or a bench warrant for your arrest.
